Like Anaehoomalu and Hapuna beaches, spacious Spencer Beach Park at the base of the Kohala Mountains is another wide swath of white sand beach. Honokaa, the major town on the Hamakua Coast, has only 2,500 residents. It still feels like the 1920's with a main street Honokaa consists of false-front buildings and local stores with a smattering of shops catering to tourists. Honokaa has one of the world's largest macadamia nut growing areas where Hawaii's macadamia nut industry started here.

Horseback Rides - Big Island of Hawaii - Parker Ranch, Waimea
